1. Who I am
This website, katerinav.com, is operated by Katerina Vladimirovna, a self-employed EQ coach and corporate trainer based in Malta ("I", "me"). I am the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@katerinav.com.
2. What data I collect
Contact and proposal forms: your name, email address, and any details you provide (such as company, role, team size and your message). EQ assessment: your first name, email address, your answers and your results. Newsletter subscription: your email address. Booking a call: the details you provide through Calendly (name, email, chosen time). Analytics: with your consent, usage data collected through cookies — pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location — via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
3. Why I use it and on what legal basis
To respond to your enquiries and prepare proposals — legitimate interest and steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). To send you your assessment results and related emails, and to send the newsletter — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). To run analytics — your consent. To deliver coaching and training services you have purchased — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). To keep invoicing records — legal obligation under Maltese law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. How long I keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact. Newsletter and assessment data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Client records: for the duration of our work together and as required by Maltese tax and accounting law thereafter. Analytics data: per the retention settings of the analytics tools, not exceeding 14 months.
5. Who processes data on my behalf
I use trusted service providers to run this site: Netlify (hosting), Resend (form/email delivery), MailerLite (email marketing), Calendly (scheduling), Google (analytics) and Microsoft (analytics). They process data only on my instructions under data processing agreements. Some providers are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. I do not sell personal data and I do not share it with anyone else.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@katerinav.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt) or the supervisory authority in your country.
7. Cookies
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) are set only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. Declining analytics does not limit the use of this site.
8. Automated decision-making
The EQ assessment calculates your results automatically from your answers, for your information only. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you automatically.
9. Children
My services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
Any updates will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
